Review by hotel critic
As a frequent traveler with a penchant for Italy's coastal resorts, I recently found myself staying at this quiet hotel near Saint-Malo—only a 10-minute drive from the ferry port. The location is a highlight, particularly for those needing easy ferry access, which I certainly appreciated. Our family room was spacious, featuring a separate sleeping area for the kids upstairs, providing a nice balance of comfort and privacy. Cleanliness was on point, and the provision of tea and coffee facilities in the room made those early mornings a tad easier—though I wish I had pre-booked breakfast as we found no options at the port. While parking is free and easy, I'd recommend checking the shuttle service to avoid the notoriously difficult weekend parking in Saint-Malo. Ultimately, this hotel strikes a decent balance between luxury and affordability, especially for families like mine looking for convenience. Given the amenities, I believe the value offered here is solid for the experience.
